Engage in the collaborative and social aspects of writing processes

At the beginning of the class, we were put into groups and were given a group project to do. This helped us to get to know each other and be closer. It was awkward at first but as we found common ground which was the project and the class in general, we were able to talk and get to know each other better. We were also able to help each other throughout the class.

At one point in the class, we had to meet each other either on zoom or on campus, peer review, record the whole process and then send the recording to Professor Carr. This was a very long and hectic process than what we were usually used to, which was usually sharing a document and everyone just putting their feedback on the paper and then submitting it to Blackboard, but it was a great experience .

Another way which I believe you are all used to, is the discussion board on Blackboard where anyone in the class could give you feedback and you could just view it easily without having to be awkward with each other.
